Warranty
At Box Master Containers, we take pride in the durability, craftsmanship, and overall quality of our products—whether it’s a new shipping container, a custom-built container home, or a fully-outfitted tiny home. That’s why we back our work with a fair and transparent warranty designed to protect your investment and provide peace of mind long after delivery.
Our warranty covers a range of structural and material issues, depending on the type of product you purchase. Below is a breakdown of what’s covered, what’s not, and how to request support if something goes wrong.
1. Warranty Coverage
All Box Master Containers products come with a standard limited warranty that includes:
-
Shipping Containers (New or One-Trip):
1-Year Warranty covering structural integrity, including doors, frame, walls, and flooring (excluding cosmetic wear or rust from normal outdoor exposure). -
Modified Shipping Containers & Container Homes:
1-Year Warranty on structural integrity, including welded modifications, reinforcements, insulation, and major systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, if installed by us). -
Tiny Homes (Standard or Custom Models):
1-Year Warranty on structural framing, roofing, siding, built-in systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), and factory-installed fixtures.
This warranty begins from the date of delivery and applies only to the original purchaser.
2. What’s Not Covered
Our warranty does not cover issues resulting from:
-
Normal wear and tear or weather-related damage (rust, fading, minor dents)
-
Improper use, abuse, neglect, or failure to maintain the product
-
Unauthorized modifications or repairs made by a third party
-
Natural disasters or “Acts of God” (storms, flooding, earthquakes, etc.)
-
Damage caused during relocation or transport after initial delivery
-
Cosmetic issues that do not affect structural or functional performance
We do our best to build products that last, but ongoing maintenance—especially for outdoor units or mobile homes—is essential for preserving your container’s condition.
3. How to File a Warranty Claim
If you experience an issue you believe falls under our warranty, please contact us as soon as possible. To file a claim, you’ll need to:
-
Submit a written description of the issue
-
Include photo or video evidence where applicable
-
Provide your order number and date of delivery
-
Send all materials to info@boxmastercontainers.com
Our team will review your claim and, if it qualifies, arrange for repair, replacement, or other resolution at no cost to you. We aim to respond to all warranty requests within 3–5 business days.
4. Resolution Options
Depending on the issue, we will determine the most appropriate solution, which may include:
-
On-site repair by our service team or an approved contractor
-
Shipment of replacement parts or materials
-
Partial refund or store credit if a repair isn’t feasible
-
Full replacement of the product in rare, qualifying cases
We will always communicate transparently and aim to resolve warranty issues quickly and fairly.
5. Extended Warranty Options
For certain products—particularly custom container homes and tiny homes—we may offer extended warranty packages at an additional cost. These plans can cover key systems and materials for up to 3 years. If you’re interested in extending your warranty, let us know at the time of purchase or within 30 days of delivery.
