We understand that purchasing one of our products is a big investment, and we’re here to ensure that your order arrives safely, on time, and with as little hassle as possible. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about how we handle shipping and delivery.
1. Shipping Rates
Our shipping rates are determined by a combination of key factors, including the size and type of product (whether it’s a standard shipping container or a fully-built container home), the delivery location, and the transport method selected. We work closely with a network of trusted freight and local logistics partners to provide competitive and accurate pricing. You’ll always see the full shipping cost displayed at checkout—no hidden fees or surprises. If your delivery location is particularly remote or requires special handling, a member of our team may reach out with custom options to ensure your order arrives smoothly.
2. Processing and Delivery Timeframes
Once you’ve placed your order, our team gets to work prepping your container for delivery. Orders are generally processed within 3 to 5 business days, depending on the product and any customizations. Delivery times will vary depending on your location and the type of container or home you’ve selected.
For customers located nearby, delivery typically takes between 1 to 3 business days once your order leaves our facility. For regional and cross-country deliveries, please allow 5 to 10 business days for transit. Some larger builds—such as fully-finished container homes or custom-modified units—may require additional time for preparation and coordination. Rest assured, we’ll keep you updated throughout the process with expected delivery timelines and tracking details when applicable.
3. Daily Cut-Off Time for Orders
To help ensure prompt processing, we have a daily order cut-off time of 2:00 PM (local time). Orders placed before this time are eligible for same-day processing. Orders submitted after the cut-off will be reviewed and processed the following business day. This helps us coordinate with our logistics teams and ensures your delivery stays on track from the moment it leaves our yard.
4. Changing Your Shipping Address
We understand that plans can change. If you need to modify the shipping address on your order, please contact us within 24 hours of purchase. After that point, your order may already be scheduled or in transit, and changing the delivery destination becomes significantly more challenging. We’ll always do our best to help, but once the shipping process has started, we can’t guarantee rerouting.
5. Cancelling an Order
If you need to cancel your order for any reason, please reach out to our team within 24 hours of placing it. We understand that circumstances shift, and we’re happy to accommodate cancellations within this window. After 24 hours, your container or home may already be in the processing or staging phase, at which point cancellation may not be possible. If you’re unsure or have any concerns, don’t hesitate to contact us—we’re always happy to talk through options.
6. Handling Damaged Shipments
Although we take every precaution to protect your purchase during handling and delivery, things can occasionally go wrong in transit. If your product arrives with visible damage, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order. Include clear photos of the affected areas along with a brief description of what happened. Once we’ve reviewed the details, our team will work closely with you to determine the best resolution, whether that’s a repair, a replacement, or another appropriate solution. Your satisfaction and peace of mind are our top priorities.
