Returns Policy

At Box Master Containers, customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do. While many of our core products—such as shipping containers, container homes, and tiny homes—are built or modified to order and therefore not typically returnable, we recognize that there may be rare cases where a return is appropriate. Our goal is to make the process as simple and straightforward as possible while balancing the unique nature of our large-scale and custom products.

1. Return Eligibility

Because our containers and homes are often made-to-order, most full-size products are not eligible for return once delivery has been completed. However, if you’ve ordered accessory items, modular add-ons, or off-the-shelf components (like doors, windows, solar kits, or furniture units), these may qualify for return under certain conditions.

Eligible items must be:

  • Unused and in original condition

  • Returned in original packaging

  • Received by us within 14 days of the original delivery date

2. Initiating a Return

To begin a return, please reach out to our support team via email at support@boxmastercontainers.com. Include your order number, a description of the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return. Once your request is approved, we’ll provide you with instructions for returning the item, including a return shipping address and any labels you may need.

Please note that unauthorized returns or returns sent to the wrong location will not be accepted, so always wait for confirmation and return instructions before sending anything back.

3. Return Shipping Costs

Unless the item arrived damaged or we made an error in fulfilling your order, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. For high-value or heavy items, we recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method. Box Master Containers is not responsible for lost or damaged returns in transit.

In cases where the return is due to our mistake (e.g., wrong item shipped or defective accessory), we will cover the return shipping cost and arrange pickup where applicable.

4. Restocking Fees

Some returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%, particularly for large or heavy accessories, bulk returns, or items requiring repackaging. This fee helps cover inspection, handling, and restocking labor.

We’ll inform you of any restocking fees before finalizing your return, and we’re always open to discussing reasonable accommodations based on your specific situation.

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Custom or modified shipping containers

  • Container homes and tiny homes once delivered

  • Items installed or used

  • Sale or clearance items marked “Final Sale”

  • Digital products or downloadable materials

We strongly recommend reviewing your order details carefully before purchase, especially for custom builds or pre-installed components.

6. Refunds for Returned Items

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the status. If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. You’ll receive an email confirmation once the refund is processed.

If the return is denied due to use, damage, or ineligibility, we will notify you and offer the option to have the item shipped back at your expense.
