Refund Policy

At Box Master Containers, we stand behind the quality of every shipping container, container home, and tiny home we sell. Our goal is to make sure that you’re completely satisfied with your purchase. While many of our products are large, custom, or made-to-order items, we’ve developed a fair and transparent refund policy to address various situations that may arise. Please read below to understand how we handle refunds and how we can support you if something doesn’t go as planned.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Due to the nature of our business and the size and customization of many of our products, not all purchases are eligible for a refund. Standard, unmodified shipping containers may be eligible for a refund if requested within a specific timeframe. Custom-built container homes and tiny homes, however, are generally non-refundable once fabrication or modification has begun. That said, we assess each request individually and will do our best to find a reasonable solution if issues arise.

If you believe your order qualifies for a refund, we encourage you to contact our support team as soon as possible. All refund requests must be made in writing and sent to our official support email with your order number, contact information, and a brief explanation of your request.

2. Refund Window

To be considered for a full or partial refund, your request must be submitted within 7 days of delivery or within 24 hours of order placement if cancellation is your intention. For cancellations made within 24 hours of order placement (and before production has started), a full refund is usually possible. After that time, any materials ordered or labor initiated may reduce the refundable amount. We’ll always be transparent with what’s refundable and what isn’t.

For any refund related to dissatisfaction with a delivered product, you must provide detailed information and supporting images showing why you’re requesting a return or refund. This helps us understand the situation and determine how we can make it right.

3. Refunds on Damaged or Defective Products

In the rare event that your container or home arrives with significant damage or defects that were not disclosed or expected, we’ll work with you to resolve the issue. In many cases, we may offer repairs, replacements, or partial refunds depending on the severity and nature of the problem.

To qualify, you must report any damage within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographic evidence and a written description. Failure to notify us within that window may affect eligibility for any refund or remedy. Our goal is to make sure you’re satisfied—not stuck—so we’ll always do our best to be fair and flexible.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

While we always want to be helpful, certain circumstances do fall outside of our refund policy. These include (but are not limited to):

  • Customized or modified containers and homes after production has begun

  • Delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, or access issues at the delivery site

  • Improper use, mishandling, or self-inflicted damage to the product after delivery

  • Buyer’s remorse or change of mind after the refund window has closed

We encourage all customers to carefully review their order, specifications, and delivery requirements before confirming a purchase.

5. Processing Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank or credit card provider. You will receive confirmation once the refund has been initiated.

In some cases—such as partial refunds or product swaps—we may issue a credit toward future purchases instead of a direct monetary refund. We’ll clearly communicate your options so you can make the best decision.
